Ex Hampshire colts fast bowler and number 9, he was quite the player in his youth, time and lack of practice have taken their toll on the bowling front, leaving him with a great eye and an ability to bludgeon some of the biggest sixes of any match. Ben's strength can also be his downfall and his passion for big hiting can inadvertantly send the ball to hands. Back in the country for the 2004 season after a year long erasmus in Sienna he will prove a very useful asset to the team. 2003
