"Ridgo", "The Cake" or much worse when bowling below par finished the season second in the bowling averages (10.71) just below Nick. Towards the end of the season Chris (slow right arm spin with probably the strangest action ever seen on a cricket pitch), found his length and bowled some unplayable balls, often turning them extraordinarily. He was dreadfully unlucky to not get more wickets, especially against Twyford, despite the best efforts of one batsman who tried to club him (every ball) into the city centre. Chris's batting, well…..Ridgo has for the second year won the enviable Duck Award, sometimes without facing a ball due to some of the most amusing Inzamam-style run outs and mix-ups.
